Italy has the largest number of historical sites included in the UNESCO world list, a heritage capable of fueling a very large productive fabric that attracts millions of visitors, both national and foreign, every year, but to date not yet equipped with technological tools and digital channels adequate to meet the needs of all targets. To propose an adequate solution to this problem, To Be launched: “LiFi Art” – the flagship product created by the innovative SME to digitize the Cultural Heritage ecosystem. The project is designed to find application within the entire cultural sector, from museums to archaeological parks, from permanent exhibitions to cultural events. Starting, in fact, from the sector’s need to digitize the experience of visiting museums and places of culture to offer more engaging tours and also attract a younger target, To Be has developed a LiFi solution capable of breaking traditional patterns and propose to the public a new concept of visit. In fact, through LiFi Art, while the user walks inside museums or historical sites, they will be able to receive all the information relating to a work directly on their smartphone, without the need for audio guides or other tools. LiFi Art can also offer further services such as the creation of thematic itineraries built by area of ​​interest, by historical period, by age groups; way-finding services to guide the visitor within the spaces, helping him to orient himself, move and find the points of main interest or usefulness; support services for people with disabilities to make the visit experience pleasant even for those who may have functional difficulties. LiFi Art also allows the development of co-marketing services and systems for valorising activities linked to the territory to involve all related activities in the cultural sector, with the aim of creating a network capable of supporting museum sites in the development of their business , encouraging collaboration, with a view to maximizing potential and reducing management costs. To Be actively contributes to the achievement of SDGs n. 9 (industry, innovation and infrastructure) and n. 11 (sustainable cities and communities).
