The capital increase was finalized also with the use of the “Impact Grant”, an innovative financial instrument that allows part of the equity investment to be transformed into a non-repayable contribution, in the hypothesis of achieving pre-emptive social impact objectives. -agreed. The investment was made as part of “Impact4Coop“, the program to support the cooperative sector, launched at the beginning of 2022 by Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore in synergy with the Fondazione Cariplo.

Impact

Tikvà actively contributes to the achievement of SDGs n. 4 (quality education), n. 8 (decent work and economic growth) and n. 10 (reduce inequalities). Tikvà’s activity is developed through 4 macro areas: promotion of active citizenship, through youth empowerment services regarding the themes of civic activism; youth protagonism in the territories, through activities that involve young people in the creation of cultural events; planning and project financing, through the planning of interventions in the educational sector; training and consultancy activities aimed mainly at social cooperatives and ETS. Offering boys and girls opportunities for leadership represents the solution with which Tikvà intends to deal with the high number of NEETs and the high rate of school dropouts present in the Como province. In this regard, the Cooperative works and launches projects in close contact with young people from different backgrounds to reduce inequalities, in the belief that the heterogeneous composition of active participation is a value capable of increasing the level of inclusion and cohesion in the community.
