La Miniera di Giove

The Cooperative develops personalized educational projects, starting from an accurate analysis of the needs of the subjects concerned, paying particular attention to frailties, specific learning disabilities and the educational needs of children and young people in primary and secondary schools, which is carried out by building relationships with all the contacts involved in the project (schools, NPI services, social workers, etc.) and collaborating with them in the interest of the beneficiaries. The dialogue with the support networks and with the main stakeholders (schools and social services) produces a significant impact in terms of social change and the evolution of the educational culture. The Cooperative also offers art therapy, music therapy, dance therapy, psychomotor skills and theatricality education workshops, aimed at schools and facilities for the elderly (RSA) and psychological support and psychotherapy courses for minors and adults, couple psychotherapy and parenting support courses within the psychological service “Progetto Gemme”. Following the numerous requests for new accesses, especially from adolescents most affected by the psychological effects of the pandemic, the cooperative intends to expand the service and is looking for a larger space. La Miniera di Giove is a partner of the “Re-Start” project, promoted by the NaturArt Cooperative, aimed at pre-adolescents and adolescents in the municipalities of Varese and Malnate. The objective of the initiative is to counter the spread of educational poverty among young people through an integrated approach, aimed at reducing early school leaving and dropping out, enhancing the central role of families and the active participation of the educating community.
