eArs s.r.l., is a start-up specialized in the design and production of audio narrations for cultural, tourism and corporate entities. In particular, the services offered are 3:
- Audio guides, eArs audio guides enhance the story of a museum tour or tourist itinerary, creating a bridge between cultural institutions and their audiences thanks to a language that is complete from a scientific point of view but at the same time accessible to all targets.
- AudioZoom®, or the right audio in the right place. This is audio that can be integrated into various paper or digital media thanks to a QR Code or player, capable of enhancing communication assets throughout the customer journey (before, during and after an experience/event).
- Podcast, an increasingly used medium for dissemination that manages to engage the most critical groups of young people and young adults.
eArs also offers training workshops for students and adults on the topics of podcasting and audio production, which allow participants to learn directly from industry professionals.
Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore has become a founding member of eArs S.r.l., through the acquisition of 2% of the shares of the start-up, in line with an impact first approach to investment.
In 2018 eArs participated in the Call For Impact of Get it! on Enhancement of Cultural and Environmental Heritage. Within the program it stood out for the innovation and cultural impact of its business model; initially among the 106 candidate initiatives and, in the subsequent phase, among the 15 that landed at the Selection Day.
After completing an incubation program at Filarete and mentorship under the guidance of Andrea Alessandri – both offered by the program – the start-up is among the first of Get it!, to benefit from the investment of Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore, strategic and operational arm of the Fondazione Cariplo in the field of impact investing and promoter of the program, in partnership with Cariplo Factory.
From July 2024, eArs can count on further support from Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore, which has invested €100,000 in equity in the initiative as part of “Impact4Art“, the “impact” investment program for recovery of the Art and Culture sector, launched at the beginning of 2021 by FSVGDA in synergy with the Fondazione Cariplo.
