GDA Impact is an impact investing program managed by GDA Venture and promoted by Fondazione Social Venture Giordano Dell’Amore and Fondazione Cariplo, which offer +60MLN/€ to support the development of Italian social entrepreneurship.

Investment Sectors

GDA Impact aims to invest in initiatives which offer innovative and sustainable solutions to the most pressing social, environmental or cultural challenges, by adopting adequate measurement tools to evaluate impact. The most urgent challenges facing our nation, that GDA Impact will look carefully, are:

  • Demographic challenges: aging of the population, depopulation of internal areas, birth rate decline
  • Development of territorial welfare systems: digital transformation, intermediation platforms and services for vulnerable people
  • Employability: training, access to the job market - focus: neet / young people
  • Social housing: senior housing, student housing, widespread housing
  • Protection of the environment and biodiversity: green innovation, ecological transition, energy efficiency and circular economy
  • Cultural participation: valorization of cultural heritage, innovation of fruition and active participation models
